The formal opening of the new Strathpeffer Medical Centre took place on the evening of Tuesday 26th of November with Dr Kitty Campbell performing the official opening ceremony in front of assembled guests and surgery staff.

Also in attendance were doctors past and present, including Dr. Margaret Newton and Dr. Lilias Richard, who were both thanked for their contribution to the Strathpeffer and District practice over the years. Dr. Newton (or ‘Dr Paddy’ as she is perhaps better known locally) commented that it was 51 years ago in November that she had come to Strathpeffer to assist Dr Dick. Strathpeffer has seen quite a few changes since then!

Located to the rear of the Community Centre, the new premises are bright airy and spacious with lots of parking available. Surgery contact details remain as before.
