    Storywalks:
Although the final evaluation has not yet been carried out, indications are that it has been a very successful pilot project. The general opinion from the public and the schools was that it was a worthwhile and enjoyable experience which brought the village to life. Each walk, led by a character from the past, took participants on a gentle stroll around the Strathpeffer of Victorian times, ending with an opportunity to ‘take the waters’ in the restored Upper Pump Room.

    Public Meeting:
At the time of writing we are in the final stages of preparation for our joint public meeting with the Scottish Historic Buildings Trust (SHBT) planned for 11 December, 2002. A warm invitation has been extended to the local community through our own newsletter, the Pavilion News. A public notice in the local press invited the wider community. At the meeting, SPA and SHBT will bring the community up to date on progress, discuss future developments, and invite questions from the floor.

A MERRY CHRISTMAS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR
    From the Strathpeffer Pavilion Association
